How does it work?
The SMART Cabinet FDS uses cross-zone electronic smoke detection to stop the fire at the incipient (before it starts and grows) stage. Once the unit recognizes a fire is about to develop, the SMART Cabinet FDS starts a count-down before releasing 3M™ Novec™ 1230 fire suppression agent into the rack.
What is 3M™ Novec™ 1230?
It is the clean agent we use for our fire suppression systems. This chemical has several advantages: This agent is not electrically conductive, and it doesn't require any clean-up. Yes, that means the equipment in the rack will continue operating even during a potential fire event and after it. Thus, providing clients ultimate reliability.
